Of Buffalo, entered into rest February 25th, 2026. Beloved father of Lateefah (Leon) Martin, and Tahirah (Elijah) Wheeler, who he co-parented with Karen Hargrove; devoted pop-pop of Isaiah, Jaylen, Naseem, Mekhi, and Peyton; loving brother of Yvonne Backey, Willie Hatten, Carolyn Foster, Gregory Hatten, and the late Dolores Brown Baul. Relatives and friends may visit Agape AME Church, 244 Northland Ave., Buffalo, NY 14208 on March 7th, from 10-11 AM where a Homegoing Service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
