It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyson Scott Hinsdill at the age of 60 on September 04, 2025.
Born in New York, New York, on May 1, 1965, Tyson's life was a rich tapestry of experiences that took him from New York to Middleton, WI, onward to California, and finally to Wausau, WI. It was in Wausau that he settled down at Midwest Communications as the Director of IT, leaving an indelible mark through his work and the friendships he cultivated.
Known for his clever wit and creativity, Tyson's company was cherished by those who knew him. Outside of work, he shared time with his fiancée, Jaimee, who was his long-time friend and partner, as he indulged in his love for Formula 1 racing, gaming, and crafting arcade machines-hobbies that underpinned his creative spirit.
Tyson's legacy continues through his mother, Jeanette Hinsdill, his siblings, Kevin (Krista) Hinsdill and Dawn (Mitch) Hinsdill, his fiancée Jaimee Loria, and nieces and nephews Nick and Nathan Rahmlow, and Brad and Amanda Doescher.
To celebrate his life, a gathering will take place on September 27, 2025, from noon to 2:00 pm at WOW (Wausau on the Water). In honor of Tyson, participants are kindly encouraged to donate to the Compassus House of Dove Hospice or treat themselves to a frivolous gift, reflecting on the joy and camaraderie Tyson so famously shared.
Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is currently assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at MWCS.WS.
