Uldanelis was born in Baracoa Cuba on June 15, 1931. Loving mother of U. Chaletta McCoy, and Charlie L. McCoy, II and mother-in-law of Teresa T. McCoy. Cherished grandmother of Elena M. McCoy and Charlie L. McCoy, III. Dear sister of Reyna Esther Sanchez, Benigno Eliel Sanchez, Jose Ramon Sanchez, Nellys Marie Sanchez, Olga Eunice Sanchez, and Betty Mariela Sanchez.
Uldanelis was predeceased by her husband Charlie L. McCoy (MGYSGT, USMC), her father Jose Manuel Sanchez, and her mother Ladislaa Galano.
Uldanelis is a Christian woman who devoted her life to her family as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is remembered for her sweet voice, melodious singing, wise counsel, and her giving heart. She was and will always be an example of grace and strength. A godly woman who held the Lord in high reverence, her faith in His wonders remained paramount throughout her life. Each day of Uldanelis's life was full of blessings given from God.
Our mom's Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, November 28, 2025, and the interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
