Full Obituary
Ulises Huerta Espino, age 46, of Breese, and formerly of Mexico, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born February 24, 1978, in Nahuatzen, Michoacan, Mexico, a son of Fermin Huerta Torres and Maria Victalina Espino Leo.
In addition to his parents, Ulises is survived by his wife of 25 years, Grenoreva Madrigal Prado; daughter, Itcsama Yeraldin Huerta Madrigal; grandson, Eiden Yael; and dear friends, Pedro Alvarez Castaneda, Margartia Alvaez Castaneda, and Agustin Contreras Rodriguez.
Ulises was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Francisco Flores Jimenez; father-in-law, Francisco Madrigal Alvarez; and mother-in-law, Juana Prado Rodriguez.
Ulises was a member of St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville and worked as a farmer and carpenter. He loved working and watching soccer and enjoyed fishing and hanging out with friends.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville with Fr. Victor Patrieio presiding. Interment will take place in Nahuatzen, Michoacan, Mexico.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Pedro Alvarez Castaneda) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
