Ursula Adler Hurley, 88, wife of the late James Edward Hurley, of West Union, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Lila Doyle.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Mrs. Hurley was the daughter of the late Friedrich Wilhelm Erich Adler and Erna Rzehaczek Adler. She was a retired desk clerk for the United States Army and was of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Hurley was an Avon President's Club Member, a volunteer for the Red Cross and Army Community Service, and has been awarded various Department of the United States Army awards.
Mrs. Hurley is survived by her daughters: Deborah Hurley (Wolfram Michalski) of West Union, and Darlene Littlefield (Ed) of Seneca, SC; and grandchildren: Cager Littlefield, Cayden Littlefield, and Markus Michalski; and great-grandson: Marc Michalski.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hurley is preceded in death by her sister: Karin Ullrich; and daughters: Donna Hurley and Sherry Hurley.
A private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to plant lilacs or roses in your yard and/or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
The family is at their respective homes.
