Justin Dale Duncan, 29, of Salem, SC, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Emory St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Oconee County, SC, Justin was the son of James Dale and Kathey Lynn Porter Duncan. He worked in the construction industry. In his 29 years, Justin lived a very full life. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. His fun-loving personality always lit up any room he entered. He was selfless, willing to give you the shirt off his back, and will be missed terribly by those who loved him. Justin is survived by his children: Paisleigh Grace Duncan and Cooper Thompson; grandmother: Margaret Porter; aunts: Stacy Dotson, Sharon Galloway, Amanda Ayers, and Tina Moss; uncles: Uncle Robbie, Johnny Dotson, Tommy Ayers, Scott Porter, Kenneth Whitworth, Byron Duncan (Rita), and Mikey Duncan; great-aunt: Linda Ellenburg; great-uncle: Ricky Cantrell; and Brooklyn Teske, with whom he loved and shared a special bond. Justin also had numerous "brothers and sisters" that he loved and cherished, including Marcus and Nick. Justin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Ray and Grace Cantrell; grandmothers: Maxine Patton and Martha Duncan; grandfather: Kenneth Porter; and great-uncle: Hoyt "Bud" Ellenburg. The family is at their respective homes.
