Ursula Randolph Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wimberly Funeral Home on Aug. 15, 2021.
Life Reflections
Ursula Randolph, 56, passed away on August 9, 2021 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. She was born on April 15, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas Randolph Sr. and Rosie Mae Grayson Randolph. She was the fourth of five children.
Ursula was educated in the school system of KCMO. She attended Dunbar Elementary, Askew Elementary, Leeds & Dunbar Middle School, and East High School (Class of 1983). She was a graduate of Missouri Western University in St. Joseph, MO, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications and Marketing. She later became a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Georgia.
Ursula was a lifetime faithful church member of Gilbert Memorial AME Church in Kansas City and Hopewell Baptist Church in Norcross, GA. During her youthful years she was extremely active in the church, performing roles as a choir member, usher board member, and the YPD organization.
Ursula's career at AT&T spanned 15 years, during which time she relocated to Atlanta, GA in the 1990's. Her other professional endeavors include her teaching years where she taught English as a Second Language at Gwinnett Technical College, in Lawrenceville, GA and beautician at N'Seya Salon & Spa in Atlanta. She also founded the concierge services firm, Hours by Design.
Ursula grew up in the Leeds community of Kansas City. She enjoyed traveling back home frequently to spend quality time with her family and friends. Ursula was a member of the Winship Cancer Institute-as a 6-year cancer survivor; after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She was so full of life and exuded love to everyone who knew her.
Besides spending as much time as she could with family, Ursula enjoyed traveling, educating, writing, and cooking her own recipes. Nothing, however, brought her more pride and joy than being a mother to her two daughters Thomeisha and Ti'Kariya.
Ursula was preceded in death by her father
Thomas H. Randolph Sr., brother Floyd Randolph, paternal grandparents Sam & Isabell Randolph, and maternal grandparents Maceo & Beatrice Grayson Sr.
Ursula leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: daughters Thomeisha Rosha'e Randolph and Ti'Kariya Keimani Allen-Randolph; mother Rosie M Grayson Randolph; brother Thomas H Randolph Jr. (Quinthella); sister Carlotta Randolph Royal (Fred); brother Keith Randolph (Trena) and special cousin (brother): Charles Grayson (Cookie); nieces Asha Royal, Karmaria Royal, Zowi Randolph, Tyra Randolph and Sachi Randolph; along with a host of relatives and friends.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all she knew and loved.
