Valeen (Val) Ferre Giles was born February 14, 1935 in Vineyard (Orem), Utah to Noal and Caddie Agness Pace Ferre. Graduate of Lincoln High School. She married Earl Biggs Giles February 17, 1954, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1983.
Valeen was an active member of the LDS Church all her life, serving in leadership and teaching positions in the Primary, Young Women and the Relief Society. She enjoyed the years spent serving as a hostess at the Beehive House, and as a worker at the Bountiful Utah Temple. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.
Survived by: daughters-Debra Leigh (Kenneth) Morgan of West Point; Sue Ann (Roger) Parsell of Kaysville; Sandra Joyce (Cory) Archibald of Wichita, Kansas; three grandsons, eight granddaughters, eighteen great-grandchildren; brother Lawrence Ferre of Payson; sister Hazel (Lewis) Bowman of Bluffdale, Marlin Giles of Springville.
Preceded in death by her husband Earl and her son Alan Earl, parents, sisters Barbara (LeGrande) Park, Lucy (Donald) Willcox, Ruth (Clem) Mace, Dora (Edward) Ashby, Carol (Victor) Seybold, Helen (Clinton) Perry, Marie (Merlin) Young; and brothers; Clarence (Norma) Ferre and Keith Albert Ferre.

Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Russon Mortuary in Farmington at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing prior to the service from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Russon Mortuary is located at 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah, 84025.
The services will be streamed live through Russon Mortuary. The link will be available here on the obituary 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the service.
