Valentin Razo Godinez, age 68 of Hallsboro passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at his residence surrounded by family.

Valentin was born on February 8, 1957 to Jorge Razo Solis and Beatriz Godinez Ramirez and was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will visit with friends prior to the service in the chapel from 2:00-2:45 p.m.

Valentin was known for always wearing his cowboy hats and a local man who was always honest and humble. He loved to garden, go thrifting, and always knew how to have a good time.

Surviving family includes his wife, Lidia Garcia Torres; five children, Hector (Ellen), Ariana (Gerardo), Diego, Oscar (Briana), Natltaly (Eduardo); twelve grandchildren, ten girls and two boys; two great-grandchildren, one girl and one boy; and eight siblings, Jorge, Arcelia, Juan, Hugo, Salvador, Yolanda, Irma, Gero.

Valentín Razo Godínez, de 68 años y residente de Hallsboro, falleció el viernes 6 de febrero de 2026 en su residencia, rodeado de su familia.

Valentín nació el 8 de febrero de 1957, hijo de Jorge Razo Solís y Beatriz Godínez Ramírez, y su padre le precedió en la muerte.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el viernes 13 de febrero de 2026 a las 15:00 h en la capilla de la funeraria Worthington.

La familia se reunirá con amigos antes del servicio en la capilla, de 14:00 a 14:45 h.

Valentín era conocido por su sombrero vaquero y por ser un hombre local honesto y humilde. Le encantaba la jardinería, ir de compras y siempre sabía cómo divertirse.

Les sobreviven su esposa, Lidia García Torres; cinco hijos, Héctor (Ellen), Ariana (Gerardo), Diego, Oscar (Briana), Natltaly (Eduardo); doce nietos, diez niñas y dos niños; dos bisnietos, una niña y un niño; y ocho hermanos, Jorge, Arcelia, Juan, Hugo, Salvador, Yolanda, Irma, Gero.
