Valentine Santos Ramos, 59, passed away on January 03, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1965 in Nixon, Texas.
Valentine attended Smiley ISD where he played several sports. He was a football fan, his favorite NFL team was the Miami Dolphins. He had many great friends, and was faithful in his Christian beliefs.
He loved the simplicity of country living, it offered him peace, and he appreciated the satisfaction of a hard days work. He enjoyed working outdoors; whether it was tending to cattle and horses, or mending fences on the ranch, he kept busy.
Valentine is survived by his daughter Savanah Herrera of Seguin along with four grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepfather Fredis G. Morataya of Leesville, along with other family members such as Manuel Ramos (Janie) of Plainview, Tx, Fidel Ramos (Donna) of Luling, Tx, Rosa Garcia (Henry) of Albany, Tx, Ramaldo Ramos (Margie) of Nixon, Tx, Hope Bowden of New Braunfels, Tx, Susie Hanson (Ralph) of Cibolo, Tx, Tammy Cant' (Gus) of Ciblolo, Tx, Domingo Ramos, Jr of Nixon, Tx, Erma Ramos (Juan) of Gonzales, Tx, Nicholas Ramos (Carrie) of Julia, Tx, Joe Ramos of Nixon, Tx, and Johnaton Ramos (Valery) of Port Neches, Tx,
He is preceded in death by his son Valentine S. Ramos, Jr., his father Domingo A. Ramos, Sr., his mother Hermina "Minnie" Morataya, and his brother Joe L. Ramos.
A private celebration of life will be held in Valentine's honor, attended only by his immediate family. Pallbearers include Manuel Ramos, Fidel Ramos, Ramaldo Ramos, Joe Ramos, Johnaton Ramos and Nicholas Ramos.
