Valeria Darlene McQuiller, born on September 27, 1950 in Buffalo, New York, lived a life defined by love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, cherishing every moment spent together and creating memories that will last for generations.
Valeria spent many happy hours tending to her garden, nurturing each plant with the same care she gave to the people in her life. She was an avid reader who loved getting lost in a good book, and she found pure delight in dancing, singing and laughing with her grandchildren. Valeria was also a gifted cook, known for her comforting meals she prepared and the way her kitchen always seemed to draw people together.
Before retiring, Valeria built a long and successful career as a manager at Verizon. She was admired for her leadership, her dedication, and her unwavering work ethic. Colleagues remember her as someone who led with fairness, compassion, and a steady hand - qualities that defined her both professionally and personally.
Valeria was the beloved daughter of the late Isiah Bennett and Marilyn Scott. She is survived by her sisters Leslie and Lisa and is preceded in death by her sisters Vanessa and Verna.
A devoted mother, Valeria leaves behind her children, Peter McQuiller and LaVerne McQuiller Williams, and son-in-law, Joe Williams, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves her adored grandchildren, Jordan and Brandon Williams, who brought her endless happiness and laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and strength that will continue to guide her family for years to come.
Visitation will be held at Lombardo Funeral Home, 4614 Main St. Snyder, NY at 10:00am Tuesday, December 23, 2025. A celebration of her life will follow at 11:00am, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey.
