I read somewhere that only an aunt can give hugs like a mother, keep secrets like a sister, and share love like a friend. All very true, but this doesn't even do justice when it comes to the unconditional love my Aunt Val gave to me, our family, and even strangers. I don't think there will be anyone as truly special in my life as my Aunt Val, and if you were lucky enough to have met her, you would know exactly what I am talking about. I'm grateful for the moments we shared, the laughs we had, the unconditional love, and all our adventures/carpe diems. You will forever be in my heart, and I know you are watching over me and everyone's lives you have touched. I hate that you are gone too soon, but I am grateful for the time we had. This isn't goodbye; this is see you later.

Our very sincere sympathies to Rick, Jean Marie, Shane and grandchildren, Emma, Jack and all of Valerie's family and friends. We're sorry we didn't have a chance for another fun family reunion! Lots of fond memories from the 1990 Keegan, Reinert, Baxter and Carroll family reunion!
May Valerie's soul rest in God's peace and prayers of comfort to all the family and friends!
Sincerely,
Anne & Richard Carroll and family
