Valerie Mahoney Obituary
Valerie (Parrott) Mahoney, age 63 of Turners Station, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Daughter of the late James Edward and Lois (Bailey) Parrott, she retired as office manager of the KY State Police Post #5 in Campbellsburg. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother who was devoted to spoiling her grandbabies! Valerie was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Parrott.

Husband of 44 years: Johnny Mahoney of Turners Station
Daughter: Jacqulyn Wisdom (Jeremy) of Turners Station
Son: Justin Mahoney (Tonya) of Turners Station
Sisters: Donna Francisco of Shelbyville
Connie Uleary of Eminence
Brother: James Edward Parrott, II (Debbie) of Louisville
Mother-in-Law: Katie Mahoney of Turners Station
4 Grandchildren: Jared & Josie Mahoney, Emerson Whitaker & Ella Wisdom
Memorial Service: 3PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Jakob Beckley.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery
Memorial Contributions may be given to Kosair Shriners Hospital at 4120 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
Visitation: 12 Noon until service time on Sunday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
