Valerie Lee Stokes

Miss Valerie Lee Stokes, age 43, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her residence.

Valerie was born in Riverdale, Georgia, on July 14, 1982. She is preceded in death by her father, Cary Stokes. Valerie was a registered nurse with Armor Medical.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra Chapman Stokes; sister and brother-in-law, Joy (Chris) Knight; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen (Tiffani) Stokes; sister, Tiffany Stokes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Valerie will also be lovingly remembered for her special dogs, Tank and Athena, whom she affectionately referred to as her "babies."

Valerie had a deep love for the ocean and found peace and joy in being near it. She was a very giving person with a kind and tender heart, always looking for ways to help others and to meet their needs before her own. She loved to bless those around her, often spoiling family and friends with thoughtful gifts and acts of generosity. Her compassion and selflessness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Loren Regier officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
