Born on April 12, 1938, in
Ripley, Mississippi, Mrs. Ann was the daughter of the late Leroy and Annie Lee Ledbetter Dunnam. She was a proud 1957 graduate of Pine Grove High School and, on June 6, 1962, married the love of her life, Max Studdard, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and a deep love for the community they so cherished.
Mrs. Ann dedicated many years of her working life to the Jumpertown Shirt Factory and later served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rest Haven Nursing Home, where she cared for others with compassion and quiet strength until her retirement.
A Christian and faithful member of Paynes Chapel Church, Mrs. Ann was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ. She loved the Lord wholeheartedly and attended church every opportunity she had, joyfully fellowshipping with a congregation she dearly loved. In her quieter moments, Mrs. Ann found joy in fishing-always determined to outfish everyone-sewing, visiting with friends, or simply catching up by phone.
Though her health declined in recent years, Mrs. Ann's love for her family never wavered. She remained a steadfast presence in their lives, offering care, encouragement, and unwavering devotion. While her absence will be deeply felt, her family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited in Heaven with her loved ones, whole and at peace, forever together once more.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughter, Regina Jarvis (Michael), her son, Max Gregory Studdard (Paula), her grandsons, Wesley Whirley and Garrett Studdard (Chasity), her great grandson, Atticus Garretson Studdard, her step grandchildren, Daniel Doyle (Kayla), Adam Hughes (Madison), and Scottie McClure (Stephanie), her step great grandchildren, Grady, Finley, Lottie, and Ellie, her nieces and nephews, Rex and Ellon Paseur Yancey, Randy and Kristy Paseur, David and Lydia Paseur, Gary and Colleen Dunnam, Freddie and Glenda Dunnam-Anderson, Jerry and his late wife, Edith Waldon-Garrard, and Charles and his late wife, Faye Waldon, along with a host of cousins, especially Byron Ledbetter and Gwen Richardson whom were very close to her.
