Valorie Renee Kumer

Valorie Renee Carney (Kumer), 62, of Beaver, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 14, 2026.

She was born on September 29, 1963, in Aliquippa, PA, to Diane and Joseph Kumer. Valorie lived a courageous life full of adventure, making the most of every moment. More than anything, she loved being a mother and devoted her life to her four children. She cherished traveling to Florida and California to visit them and spending time at the beach.

She always looked forward to road trips and being in ministry with Scott, reading with Noah, chatting with Emily for hours, going thrifting with Olivia, and fishing with Jonah. She was incredibly proud to be a grandmother, to both her grandbabies and grandpups, and would happily show their pictures to anyone who would look. Valorie exuded strength, kindness, selflessness, and a deep love for Jesus.

She is survived by her husband of 32 loving years, Scott Carney; her children Noah Carney (Sarah), Emily Carney (Patrick), Olivia Carney, and Jonah Carney (Kahlan); her grandchildren Dean, Rosie, and Samuel; her faithful dog companion Bandit; and her grandpups Rocco and King. She is also survived by her great-aunt Violet and her brothers Joseph (Lorie) and Dennis (Beverly), along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Diane Kumer, and her sister, Michelle.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Paradise Church, 619 East Main St., Louisville, OH 44641, with Pastor Keith Bruner. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paradise Church to further expand the loving ministry of Christ (paradisechurch.org).

She will be deeply missed. Her loving and radiant spirit will live on in all who loved her.
