Jan M. Comport II

Jan Michael Comport II, 51 of North Side, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2025. Jan was born in Pittsburgh on November 19, 1974. He is survived by his beloved parents Jan Michael and Jane (DeGiovanni) Comport. He is also survived by his loving uncles and aunts, Jim and Margie Comport of Ohio, Jerry and Sue Comport of Cranberry Twp., Judi (the late John) of Gibsonia and the late James (Butch) DeGiovanni, as well as his cousins Jim (Joni) Comport, Linda (the late John) Katzenmeyer, Kelli Malone Spano (Vio), Kristopher (Kar) Malone, Tracy Frenlock, John Paul DeGiovannia, and many friends. Jan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jim and Mildred DeGiovanni and Jim and Mary Comport. Jan worked at Clean Water Action and CLEAResult. Jan will be deeply missed by family and friends. He will be remembered as a voracious reader and for his exceptional artistic ability, and most of his kindness and love for family and friends. Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Leo J. Henney Funeral Home in Carnegie. A mass of remembrance will be held on March 11, 2026 at St. Anthony's Chapel, Troy Hill, Pittsburgh, at 9:30 am.
