Val, dear Val,.....by chance I bumped into you on a parking lot in Sherman just a few days before I moved to northern New Mexico ten years ago. We shared a few laughs and a couple of memories before we spoke our farewells,...but more importantly old friend, I still cherish the words of love and wisdom you offered me in your heartfelt Bon Voyage as I took my leave of you on that hot Summer day. Godspeed, dear Val. Bonne chance et bon voyage. My deepest condolences to her loved ones.
