Van was born to Miguel and Olivia Ulloa on January 22, 1983.
Van graduated from Franklin High School, Class of 2001, where he participated in basketball and soccer.
He is survived by his mother, Olivia Ulloa; sister, Valerie (Eric) Guzman; brothers, Marcus Calhoun, Eldredge Ramon "Ray" Calhoun, Mikey Angel Lujan, and Adrian Torres; nieces, Celina, Mia, Nalah, and Mila; and nephews, Dominic, Mahkai, and Izack.
Van was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Angel Ulloa; grandparents, Moises and Delia Ulloa, and Antolin Guillen and Maria Guillen; uncles, Marcial Ulloa and Luis Ulloa; and cousins, Michael Sanchez and Carlos Guillen Jr.
As the oldest child, Van was a natural pillar of strength for his siblings. He was known for his big heart and generosity, always willing to give the shirt off his back to those in need. Van's greatest joy was spoiling his nieces and nephews, creating many happy and beautiful memories for them to cherish. He was a loving and natural caregiver, especially devoted to taking care of his mother. Van's beautiful spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Thank you to everyone who Loved our Van!
