Vaughn N. Holsonbake, 86, of Westminster, MD, passed away on February 24, 2026, in Westminster.

Born on February 4, 1940, in California, Vaughn lived a steady life centered on family, service, and work.

Vaughn served in the U.S. Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, he earned a bachelor's degree and went on to work for many years as a civil engineer, a profession he approached with dedication and practicality.

Family was an important part of Vaughn's life. He was married to his late wife, Linda Sue (Cowley) Holsonbake, who passed away in 2024. Together they raised three sons: Brian (Janice), Jason, and Kevin (Holly). He is also survived by his sister, Jean Shockley (Dwain).

He was grandfather to Katie Holsonbake, Patrick Holsonbake, Aiden Holsonbake, Kayla Kramer (Erik), Kiersten Wells, and Dylan Wells, and great-grandfather to Elijah Kramer.

Vaughn enjoyed camping and traveling and took pride in working on projects around his home and helping others. He also valued staying connected to his family's heritage and made many trips over the years to visit his family in Oklahoma.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
