Velma Obert, age 91, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on May 19, 2025. She was lifetime member of Fourth Avenue Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship. Velma is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Obert; grandson, Devin Murdock and son-in-law, Mark Richardson; siblings, Janet Rigelman, Walter Crossman, Harold Crossman, Robert Crossman, and Evelyn Mauch; She is survived by daughters, Devonna (Larry) Parsons, Diana Richardson, Brenda (Paul) Lenihan, and Bonnie (Michael) Bidlack; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Family will receive friends, Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207 where funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Ken Slenkovich officiating. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
