Velma was born May 25, 1925, in Alvarado, Texas to the late Allen Dart Carroll and Cynthia Carroll.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Richmon Taylor Carroll Sr., Nellie M. Carroll Chandler, Jesse Walker Carroll, Era Efamie Carroll Sims, Bertha Lee Carroll Hatton, Mary Bell Carroll Kirkland, Elmer Jean Carroll, Anita Carroll Wallace.
Survivors: son, John Collins; daughter, Margret Barns; son, Joseph Paskey; son, Jimmy Paskey; son, Tony Paskey, numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends

Velma shouting here comes Mike to her son Jimmy. Reading the Bible when I would stay the night with her son Jim. A good cook too.
