Velma Schope Obituary

Velma was born February 20, 1933, in Alhambra, Illinois to Elmer and Myrtle (Owen-Collins) Linenfelser. She was a homemaker and a loving grandmother who served the Lord with gladness. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha, Iowa.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Malcom) King; daughter in law Jodie Karge; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell A. Schope, her former husband Joseph Karge, and her son Joseph Karge Jr.
Memorials may be directed to the LWML at Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha, Iowa.
