Velva Bailey Obituary
Mrs. Bailey was a loving and caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, & friend who will be missed by all. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on February 22, 1948 to the late Louise & George Vaughn, resided in Trenton, GA, was a longtime member of the Rising Fawn Church of God, and retired from Shaw Industries. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Williams, & sister, Darlene Lumpkin.
Survivors include her daughter and family, Sherry (Brian) Scoggins, Ashley, Madison, & Natalie; son and family, Phillip (Katelyn) Williams, Oliver, Sylis, & Zander; brothers, Ricky & Stevie Vaughn; sister, Janet Vaughn; nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Rising Fawn Church of God with Pastor Chris Hagler officiating. Interment services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lyerly Cemetery, Lyerly, GA.
Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27th from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at Rising Fawn Church of God.
Arrangements are under the care of Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
