Vera G Brooks

My condolences and prayers to you all. I remember Ms.Vera from my childhood at Friendship Baptist church. Her along with my parents Rev. Samuel and Idener Walker worked diligently to serve the people of the church and beyond. She will be missed. God bless you all!

Mrs. Brooks was one of my late mom´s, Beverly Lewis Salley, best friends. They were very close throughout their lifetimes. I remember as a child how they would spend hours on the phone taking about life. I didn´t realize Mrs. Brooks was from VA and arrived in Schenectady in the early 50´s, like my mom, which explains their closeness. My condolences to Ruth, Catherine, Charlie, and Ida and your families. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
