Vera C. Callaway

Graveside services for Vera C. Callaway, 99, of Longview will be February 18, 2010 at 2:00pm at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview with Rev. Jim Lewis officating. Mrs. Callaway passed away Tuesday evening at a local nursing home. Vera Callaway was born February 21, 1910 in Gilliam, Arkansas to Walter Capps and Elizabeth Maddux. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her family. Vera was member of the First Christian Church in Longview. She was preceded in death her husband R. E. Callaway, and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth McBroom and her husband C. J. McBroom; grand daughters Melinda Neal and Melissa McBroom; and great granddaughter Crystal Smith.
