Vera PAGNOTTA Obituary
Spokane - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Vera Pagnotta, who left us peacefully on November 27th, 2024. She was 91 years old.
Vera May Pagnotta was born on September 19th, 1933, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, to Clarence and Gladys Strand of Newport, Idaho.
Vera's greatest joy in life was being a mom to her kids, a grandmother to her grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to her great-grandchildren. On February 7th, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Frank Pagnotta, and together they raised two children, Joel Pagnotta and Barbara Hoffman (Pagnotta).
Vera spent the prime of her life surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her smile, her unwavering love for her grandchildren, and for her love of chocolate desserts. Vera Pagnotta is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank Pagnotta; son, Joel Pagnotta; daughter, Barbara Hoffman (Pagnotta) (Bruce Hoffman); granddaughter, Sara Jerred (Pagnotta) (Nathan Jerred); grandson, Tony Hoffman (Gina Hoffman); and granddaughter, Melissa Knapp (Hoffman) (Greg Knapp); along with five beautiful great-granddaughters; as well as many cherished family members and friends.
A Catholic memorial Mass to honor Vera Pagnotta will be held Saturday, December 7th, at noon at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

So sad to learn of Vera passing away. We lived across the street and loved babysitting Joey and Barbara. My sister Carol Bolma Bogue passed away October 2024. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.
