Vera Reed Obituary
Vera was born on June 3, 1924 in Durand, Michigan the daughter of the late Marion and Nina (Ellars) Krupp. She graduated from Fenton High School. Vera and Duane "Jack" Reed were united in marriage on September 25, 1945 in Flint. Sadly he preceded her in death on September 9, 1999. She was a homemaker and volunteered her time to the Blood Mobile in Durand. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time socializing with her family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon DeLisle of Gaines; 2 granddaughters, Sandi and husband Bill Domzalski of Gaines and Lisa and husband John Thelen of Fenton; 6 great-grandchildren, Trisha, Joey, Cassie (Brad), Greg, Darian and Lindsey; 7 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Vera was preceded in death by her grandson, Tim DeLisle, sister, Ruth (Robert) Matkin; and son-in-law, Alan DeLisle.
