Verle Loving Obituary
She was the beloved daughter of the late Wilfred L. Specht and Lucille Zeringue Specht. She was a devoted wife of 66 years to Robert "Bob" F. Loving Jr., and a caring mother to her three sons: Robert "Bobby" F. Loving III, Rene Loving, and Randall "Randy" Loving.
She was a cherished grandmother to Catherine "Kate," Robert "Robby," Seth and his wife Samantha, Kristen, Jordan and his wife Madison, Peyton, Logan, and Camryn Loving, and a proud great-grandmother to Landon and Salem Loving. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Laura Specht, and her daughters-in-law, Tara Maus Loving and Lisa Oubre Loving.
Verle Loving was a deeply selfless woman who dedicated much of her life to her faith and church community at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church. She was highly active in parish life and was honored with the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion, in recognition of her outstanding service to her parish.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation and Funeral Mass at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Greenwood Dr., LaPlace, LA on Tuesday December 23, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 pm and a Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery, located at Cemetery Rd, Reserve, LA.

Dear Bob and Family: I am saddened to learn about the passing of your lovely wife Verle. She was a cherished member of the East Jefferson Class of '58. We were so honored that she and you attended some of our reunions over the years. My best wishes to you and your family in this sad time.
