Verna was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., an organization that resonated deeply with her values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Her involvement with the sorority exemplified her commitment to making a difference and uplifting those around her.
The impact of her contributions and the legacy she leaves behind will undoubtedly continue to be felt for generations to come. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know her, as she made a lasting impression on the lives she touched.
A Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Omega Omega service will be held at 11:30 AM on December 5, 2025, at Ervina White Beauford Funeral Service, PC, located at 1133 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
A viewing will be held December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Saint Raymond of Penafort Catholic Church, located at 1350 Vernon Road, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
Verna Wilkerson Edwards's legacy as an educator and leader in her community will forever be cherished, and her memory will remain alive in the hearts of those who loved and admired her.
