Verna B. Hamilton, 82, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her home.
Verna was born September 28, 1942 in Maysville, Ohio to Benjamin and Mattie {Wengerd} Chupp.
She married Richard Hamilton on August 27, 1975; he passed in 2023.
Verna attended Living Hope Out Reach in Millersburg. She loved caring for her family and animals.
Verna will be deeply missed by her sister Katie Raber, loved ones Jesse Rowe (Hilary Hurt) and Andrew Osborne, Logan Osborne, Sutton Abernathy and many others. Verna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings Raymond and Anna.
Friends may visit Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Verna-Hamilton) with Pastor Joe Hochstetler officiating.
