Verna G Overby

I always admired Verna and her servant's heart. She was truly a woman of God and role model for future generations. We shared MN roots, Norwegian heritage and the joy of keeping our heritage alive in our families through stories and cooking. I loved talking to her about all those memories. You will be greatly missed but you have left an endearing legacy.

Verna was a very special woman in Alice and my life. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed very much. Alice would call every week just to check on how she was doing.

Verna a most beautiful gentle person in every way. My friend from Lake Wobegon! You now rest in His hands. Till we meet again.

Verna was the first person that I met when I first attended Grace Lutheran Church. She was So Kind and Welcoming and I always enjoyed seeing her and her lovely smile. Verna always was interested in you and you always felt joy when you were around her. Verna you will be missed.

Verna, God bless you and thank you for your friendship. My Sunday morning hugs will be one short, but I celebrate that you'll be hugging the Good Lord instead. You were and remain a blessing to Nola & me. See you in a while friend.
