Fate crossed us at a hospital a few months ago, i was being triage, she checked in on me as I was waiting to be transported, we were so happy to see each other, her personality and smile filled the hall. We had a great conversation, I can't believe that she is gone, may she rest in peace, a gift to family and friends.
Love aways, Captain

There are no words that could be put here to ease this loss. Verna was a treasure and a Great Daughter, a nice friend and Neighbor. She will be missed by many but has left a mark in very many. Myra please know that if I can do anything at all just ask. You have my number and it would make me feel better to help in any way at any time. May God hold you in this loss and keep you the strong woman you are.

It´s really a sad thing when you work with someone for many , many years, we would always run into each other in passing going in different directions at Pine Street and we stop. She´d always asked me how I was doing. She will be missed.

I worked with Verna many years ago and she was one of those uplifting, warm, genuine and loving people that you just never forget. Verna is gone far too soon but her spirit remains as a powerful memory. My deep condolences to her mother and all those who loved her.
