Vernell Morelli Obituary
AIKEN - VERNELL BARFIELD MORELLI, 86, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025.
A lifelong resident of Aiken, Vernell was a daughter of the late Olin Barfield and Geneva Smith Quattlebaum. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Ellis Ray Waters, Aiken; sisters-in-law, Susie Barfield and Carolyn Anderson Bazzell, both Aiken, Melvis Barfield, Augusta, GA, and a very special niece, Diane Daniell (Walter), Aiken. Also surviving are two grandsons and a granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, Vernell was preceded in death by her three husbands, James Anderson, Larry Morelli and Haskell Goodwin; three daughters, Sandra Waters, Brenda Porter and Janet Alexander; her twin brother, Parnell Barfield and brother, Lance Barfield; two sisters, Irene Bush and Ellen Johnson and step-father, Paul Quattlebaum
A graveside service will be held Sunday afternoon, October 12th at 2 o'clock in Central Baptist Church's Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Leech will officiate.
