Vernon Brown Obituary

Vernon was born April 23, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Fred Vernon Brown and Edith (Oyer) Jerd.
He is survived by two brothers, Evan Brown and wife Peggy and Preston Brown and wife Linda; and four nephews, Andrew Brown, Zachary Brown, Scott Brown, and Thomas Brown.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Brian Brown; and grandparents, Bernice and Leroy Oyer.
His passion for serving others gained Vernon many friends at Embassy Suites, Columbus Airport.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio with Pastor David Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Bridge Street, Waverly, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service on Saturday.
