I worked with Vern from '96 to 2000, and stayed in touch regularly since. I especially remember the bear hunting and BWCA trips we took in the late '90's. I'll miss talking to Vern about the Twins and Vikings, and all of his outdoor knowledge. From your friend, peaceful journey, Vern.

I first met Vern back in 1992 at my first benchrest shooting match. He was always a gentleman and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him.

The Carpenter Family:
Sorry to hear of Vern's death. But he will always be alive in memories in your hearts forever more. I remember my husband Don talking about all the wonderful times he, Ron and Vern would have hunting and fishing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Bright Blessings.
