Veronica L. Christensen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on October 8, 1948, Veronica graced this world with her presence for nearly eight decades, leaving a legacy of love and adventurous memories.
Veronica is survived by her devoted husband, Robert R. Christensen, who stood by her side through all of life’s joys and challenges. Together, they nurtured a family that brought them immense pride and happiness. She leaves behind her son, Richard R. (Sara) Christensen, and her daughter, Maria A. Havermann (Keith Albrecht). Veronica's spirit will live on through her grandchildren: Ashlee Havermann (Parker Reno), Kylie Christensen (Michael Collier), Logan Havermann, and Grayson Christensen, who were a source of great joy and inspiration in her life.
Veronica's close-knit family also included her twin sister, Monica Turner, and her sisters, Stephanie (Sam) Birk and Saundra (Bernard) Hartge. These relationships were integral to her journey, offering support and steadfast companionship through the years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Osa Hargan, and her mother, Geraldine Hargan, along with her brother-in-law, Skip Turner. Each of these individuals held a special place in Veronica's heart, and their memories will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
Veronica’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her unwavering compassion, her infectious laughter, and the love she shared with family and friends. As we gather to honor her life, we reflect on the precious moments and the lasting impact she has made on all who were fortunate to know her.
