Funeral services for Veronica Caldera De Escontrias, 67, will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church with Deacon Pedro Juarez officiating followed by interment at Denver City Memorial Park. Family and Friend's visitation will begin Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 15, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City.

Veronica Caldera De Escontrias passed away August 11, 2025 in Odessa, Texas. She was born on November 5, 1957 to Manuel and Elvira Caldera in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Elvira Caldera, brothers, and sisters.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Saul Escontrias; son, Alexandro Escontrias and wife, Diana; daughter, Jezabel Yañez and husband, Emanuel; 9 grandchildren, Angelina, Lucia, Sofia, Gavin, Noah, Jaxon, Elena, Estella, and Eliana; and 1 great-grandchild, Noah Cruz.
