Veronica Angelica Herrera, born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on April 5, 1945, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 79. Ms. Herrera lived in New Orleans, LA.
She was the Daughter of the late Blanca Herrera. The mother of Ruth W. Salem Aladwan (Yousef), Angelica H. Castañeda-Herrera and Milton D. Castañeda (Nancy). Grandmother of Jebreil and Jobert Aladwan, Philip, Jayson and Dominick Gurganus and Gabriel Castañeda. The sister of Emma Fiallos and Naun Hernandez.
She loved to travel and was very adventurous.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey, LA from 9:30 to 11:00 am. The funeral Mass will start at 11:00 with interment to immediately follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave, Gretna, LA.
