Our mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. She is now with God and without pain.
Veronica was born in Long Island, New York before moving to Naples, Florida where she was a hairdresser for 40 years. Her many clients became her friends over that time where they fell in love with all the same traits that her family knew made her special.
As her grandson so eloquently put it, Nana Talls, as she was affectionately called, was kind, caring, nice, honest, joyful, funny, and just awesome to be around. She will clearly be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her mother Joan Leyden and her father Edward Leyden. She is survived by her husband James Lamp, son Allen D'Andrea; daughter-in-law Sarah; grandchildren Luke, Ryan, Adam, and Ashley, sister Kelly Lewis and brother-in-law Robert.
