Vonnie was a sweet neighbor who I enjoyed chatting with! She led a full fascinating life So sad to have learned of her passing. Much love to her family.

Condolences to Vonnie´s son, Seth, and to her extended family. I had the pleasure of working with Vonnie in Seoul, South Korea. We taught together on Yongsan Military Base. Vonnie was one of the most interesting people I had met while working with the Department of Defense. She was funny, intelligent, creative, thoughtful, and generous. I´ll never forget when Vonnie welcomed me and my baby daughter to her apartment for Thanksgiving dinner. I was a new mother alone in a big city, and Vonnie was kind enough to reach out to us. I will miss her humor, as well as the electronic greeting cards she consistently sent my way. She seemed to truly enjoy staying in touch with people. Vonnie was a true gem. My heart misses her.
