With a heart as big as her infectious smile, Veronica Roldan, known affectionately to many as "Bebe" or "Shorty," graced this world with her charismatic presence on July 5, 1978, in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her spirit, radiant as her city of brotherly love, was a beacon of joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Veronica's life was a testament of compassion, empathy, and a unique humor that could light up even the darkest moments.
Veronica's love for life was evident in her passions. She had a zest for dancing, an activity she found liberating and joyful. The kitchen was Veronica's sanctuary, where she lovingly prepared meals that not only fed the stomachs but also the souls of her family and friends. Whether she was cooking, listening to music, or reminiscing about her childhood jump rope days, Veronica's heart was always in tune with the rhythm of life. Her greatest achievement, however, was becoming a mother to her two wonderful children, Nicholas and Nevaeh Wilson. They were her pride and joy, and she showered them with all the love her heart could muster.
In the realm of her professional life, Veronica was an undeniable force. Her empathetic nature and charismatic personality made her a beloved figure in the retail industry. She was a friend, a confidante, and a source of comfort to her colleagues and customers alike. Veronica was never just about making sales, she was about making connections, understanding needs, and sharing laughter, which made her unique in her field.
Veronica's faith was an integral part of her life. She embraced Christianity and, as stated in Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Veronica lived her life by these words, embodying strength and dignity in all she did. She is survived by her children, Nicholas Wilson and Nevaeh Wilson; her father, Nicolas Roldan; her mother, Carmen Greo; her sisters, Maria Roldan and Marilyn Perez; her nieces, Ashley, Danielle and Brittany. Her ex-husband, Lionel Wilson, also remains to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nicolas Roldan; her brother, Zoilo Greo; and her sister, Martha Greo.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue,
Philadelphia, PA 19136. Veronica's Home Going Service will follow at 11:30 am. Interment will take place at Mount Peace Cemetery.
Veronica's life was a symphony of love, laughter, and kindness. Her memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. We invite all who knew her to share their memories and upload photos to Veronica's memorial page. Let us keep her light shining by sharing the joy she brought into our lives.
