Veronica Ward

Veronica Ward affectionately known as "Ronnie", was born on December 31, 1975, in Paterson, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Larry Taylor and the late Brenda Ward.
Veronica attended the Paterson Public School System and graduated from Eastside High School in 1994. She furthered her education at Passaic Community College and Dover Technical College and studied Nursing.
Veronica was employed by Prompt Care and Respiratory Service.
God in His infinite wisdom called Veronica home on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Ward, grandfathers, Kenneth Ward and Willie James Strong, Sr.; grandmothers, Mary Ward and Elizabeth Taylor Strong; uncles, Thomas Ward, Kenneth Ward and Willie James Strong, Jr.
Those that will forever hold Veronica in their hearts are, her son, Jacquez Najee Ward, of Hawthorne, New Jersey.; her father, Larry Taylor pf Hawthorne, New Jersey; two uncles, Gerry (Tracy) Strong, Phenix City, Alabama and Jerome Strong, of New Haven, Connecticut; two aunts, Dorathea Strong and Geraldine (Christopher) Barcus both of Phenix City, Alabama; cousins, Natasha (Darrin, Sr.) Scott, Demetrius Strong, Jordan Strong, Christopher Jackson, Aquavia James, Jamorrey Gosha, Darrin Scott, Jr.; a lifelong friend, Maggie Hearne and a host of other relatives and friends.
