Veronyka Diamond Michaela Johnson was born on June 27, 2007, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Jeremy and Patricia Johnson. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2026, following a courageous 15-month battle with Stage 4 Renal Medullary Carcinoma, while receiving care at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Formerly of Kansas City, MO, Veronyka resided in Spring, TX with her parents. She was a devoted and loving sister to Ahriana Johnson,Ariyahnna Allen, and Josiah Johnson, whom she loved dearly and shared an unbreakable bond with.
Veronyka was baptized at Westminster Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Engus Carter, where she was taught the importance of relationship over religion. She was a current and active member of The Luke Church in Humble, Texas, where her faith continued to grow.
Veronyka was a light to all who knew her. Her radiant smile could brighten any room, and her presence left a lasting impression. Once Veronyka claimed you, there was no doubt—you were loved deeply and genuinely. Her strength, faith, and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents: Jeremy and Patricia Johnson of Spring, TX; brother, Josiah Johnson of Tallahassee, FL; sisters: Ariyahnna Allen of Houston, TX, and Ahriana Johnson of Blue Springs, MO; her Grammy, Elaine Jackson; her grandfathers: Sylvester Harden, Larry Johnson and Courtney McNeely; her nieces: Ahmina and Ahniya Hightower; and nephew, Amiri Hightower. She leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who will miss her beautiful smile, side eye and amazing sense of humor.
