Versie Bolden Hunter was born December 19, 1938, in Elberton, GA, the daughter of John and Thelma Bolden. Versie married Moses Hunter and from this union they had one daughter, Mozelle Yvonne Hunter (Mitchell). She joined Bowen United Methodist Church at an early age and was a faithful member through merger with Henry M. White to become Connections at Metropolitan United Methodist Church. She retired from Rich's Dept. Store and Excel Federal Credit Union.
On August 30, 2025, Versie made her transition from this life. Versie was preceded in death by her father; her mother; brother, James 'Jimmy' Bolden; sisters Fannie Cobb, and Barbara Geter and two nephews that she raised, Albert and Angelo Hunter. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Mozelle (Kenneth), sister Jacqueline Collier, and brother Frankie Bolden (Faye), Sister-in-law Doris Bolden nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
