1936-2025
Proceeded in death by parents Jose F. Vigil and Antonia Montoya Vigil, sister Angie Velarde, brother Henry Vigil, sister Priscilla Vigil, brother Tony Vigil.
Married to Jose S. Salazar until his death and married to Alfonso M. Chavez until his death.
Survived by three loving sons, Greg P. Salazar (Tonya), Joseph E. Salazar (Angelina), and Arthur C. Chavez (Nina). Beloved grandchildren Jennifer Salazar, Micki T. Salazar, Jolynn V. Salazar, Nicholas J. Chavez, Anthony D. Chavez and many great-grandchildren.
Vessie was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, enjoyed traveling and camping with family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends!
Please join us in celebrating Vessie with a Rosary on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 8:00am followed by a Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW Albuquerque, NM 87105. Reception to follow after services, please reach out to family for more information. Thank you!
Inurnment to follow Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00 am located at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 Guadalupe St, Albuquerque, NM 87501.
