Vesta Kay Vaughn was born Wednesday, October 28, 1959 in Pana, Illinois the daughter of James Louis and Dorthy Ann (maiden name Hicks) Vandenbergh. She was raised in Pana attending Sacred Heart School and Pana High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1977. Vesta then graduated from the Dental Technician program at Lake Land College, and she worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Stephen A. Youck of Pana for over 25 years. Vesta was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Pana. She was especially fond of her two dogs, Jimmy and Gracie.
Vesta Vaughn is survived by her Parents: Jim and Dorthy Vandenbergh of Pana; Brothers: Jim Vandenbergh, Jr. (Jean) of Pana; Scott Vandenbergh of Fulton, Missouri; and Dean Vandenbergh (Tonja) of Pana; Companion: Keith Hinton of Pana; four nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces.
