Vickey Dianne Mitchell Holcomb, age 75, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Mrs. Holcomb was born on February 16, 1950 in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late William Henry Mitchell and Pauline Griffin Mitchell. A nurse for more than 50 years, Dianne dedicated her life to serving others with compassion, skill, and unwavering kindness. She retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center in 2020, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and hearts forever touched by her care. Dianne was a faithful member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church in Alto, attending until her health prevented her from doing so. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she embraced each moment with them. Among all the roles she held in life, none meant more to her than being “Grandma,” a title she wore with pride and love.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, William "Bill" Holcomb, of Baldwin; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Harriett Ryan, of Saluda, SC; son, Troy Holcomb, of Baldwin; grandchildren, Katie Ryan, Matthew Ryan, Brayli Holcomb, Anderson Holcomb; and brother and sister-in-law, Randy Mitchell and Judy Yarbrough Mitchell, of Saluda, SC.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Scott Ledbetter officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel at 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia 30511. Telephone: 706-778-7123
