Vicki J. Doty

1947 - 2024

Vicki J. Doty, 76, of Fort Madison, passed away at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Southeast Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1947, in Fort Madison, to Walter and Mary Ann Cullen Hermes. On Aug. 22, 1998, she married Harold Doty.
Vicki was a homemaker and a member of Foursquare Gospel Church. She enjoyed crocheting and made numerous baby blankets and hand towels. She attended TOPS and enjoyed spending time with her friends there. Vicki loved her church and church family and was always the first one there to open the doors.
Survivors include four sons, Todd Mishak of Tiffin, Tony Senf of Bonaparte, Shawn Holmes of Fort Madison and Charlie (Shiela) Senf of Cambria, WI; her husband, Harold Doty of Fort Madison; two brothers, Walter Hermes of Tempe, AZ and Frank Hermes of Mo.; two sisters, Judy Hines of McGregor, Texasa and Pauline Menadue of Fort Madison; four grandchildren and one great grandchild and several other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, at Four Square Gospel Church, with Pastor Sam Fratt officiating. Her cremains will be buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
