Vickie Lynn Otterstrom

Vickie Lynn Otterstrom (Hill), 70, passed away unexpectedly in her most favorite place Bear Lake, Utah on June 21, 2024. She was born December 12, 1953 to Elmer and Elizabeth Hill in Ogden, Utah.
On November 11, 1972 Vickie married the love of her life and best friend Wylie Rawland Otterstrom. They had 40 years together until Wylie preceded her in death on 5/3/2013. They were blessed with 2 daughters, Dayna and Jaime. The girls gave her her most favorite people in the world, her grandkids, Kaden, Lacee, and Paige. She recently became GiGi (Great-Grandma) to Brinley.
Vickie graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She also graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. She recently retired from L3Harris Technologies after 13-1/2 years.
Vickie enjoyed going to her second home at Bear Lake, going to the lottery, camping, and most of all spending time with family. Family was the most important thing to Vickie, especially hosting every family gathering. She was known as favorite Aunt Vickie to her many nieces and nephews. Vickie always saw goodness and potential in everyone she knew. Her generous heart and loving nature always made everyone comfortable.
She is survived by her daughters, Dayna Otterstrom (Todd), Jaime (Steve) Ferrin; grandkids, Kaden Otterstrom (Averie); Lacee (Ryland) Evans; Paige Hill; step grand-kids, Jim, Tom, Zeriah, Xaleah; great-granddaughter, Brinley; sister, Lisa Vaughn (Jeff); brother, Mike (Lana) Hill. Many nieces and nephews; also, several in-laws who loved her like a sister.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wylie Otterstrom; her parents, Elmer and Betty Hill; sisters, Bonnie Clark, Shari VanderHeide; brother, Steve Hill; mother and father in-law, Ken and Gloria Otterstrom; brother in-laws, Randy Vaughn, Kenneth Topper; sister in-law, Ann Petro; nephew, Marty Petro.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Viewings will be held on Thursday, June 27th from 6 to 8 pm and Friday prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 am. Interment Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
